Premium, elegant Saint Emilion from the right bank region of Bordeaux (Merlot and Cabernet Franc). Rich ruby hue with prominent legs. Savoury aromas entwined with red berry fruits, raspberry and redcurrant alongside a hint of tobacco. The palate is smoky and rich with grilled meat flavours and tight tannins giving firm structure making it full-bodied with good depth and concentration. It will benefit from further ageing in the cellar, allowing time to develop and mature.
Savour this wine with a Sunday roast - perfect with Roast Lamb, a Side of Beef or Pork with crackling. Also pairs well with Duck Confit or Smoked Duck Breast. Try it with Cassoulet or smoked saucisson.
